Kate's new thing...

Kate has a new thing that she does that kinda has us amazed. I guess you have to know her like we do, but her sitting still or her being very quiet are EXTREMELY rare. To combine the two is almost non-existent.

That should read WAS non-existent.

She now has a routine where she either brings the Cinderella DVD case to Jennifer or brings her mom to the DVD player and asks for "rella". Then, she grabs a blanket. That has to be laid out for her to sit on. Then, if her mother hasn't already provided it, she gets up and stands at the pantry and looks for cereal until she gets a bowl. Got it....rella.....blanket......cereal.

In the first pic, Kate drives that car around while holding Eeyore (sp?) and holding the purse that Justin has grabbed from her.

Second pic. Yes, she is snacking on crackers. It seems like that is all she eats. But, the real story in the picture has to be the clothes. Pink shorts, diaper sticking out, and a cut off, tied shirt. Out of control.

Last pic. Justin displaying his Zoo Camp hat. Zoo Camp was short-lived. That is a long story. Day one went smooth. Day two was met with a hatred for Zoo Camp.

Justin with his cut-off hair and cut-off t-shirt. This is the shortest haircut he has had in a while and he has to cut the sleeves off of t-shirts if he wears them under a shirt...don't want them to stick out and get the young guy a t-shirt technical. Oh, and he has a giraffe...imagine that.

Nanie's Birthday

Wednesday was Mary Beth's 23rd birthday. So we went to Nana & Poppa Roy's house for dinner and cake.

Engagement Party Pics

Last Saturday night we were all invited to an engagement party for Mary Beth and Steve. Early indications are Justin will be the ring bearer, Kate will be the flower girl. I am guessing that is subject to change based on mood.

Zoo Camp - UPDATED

Justin is going to Zoo Camp at the Audubon Zoo...he enjoyed Day 1 and is hanging at the office with Dad before he goes on Tuesday.

Editors' Note: Day 2 was not so good. Justin retired from Zoo Camp. Just as we were about to leave the office, he decided he hated Zoo Camp. We went anyway, to see "what they were doing today", but with no luck. we met Jen and Kate for lunch. Justin now remains on the northshore during the day.

Also, he has developed a strong hatred for the Causeway. "Do we have to go over the Causeway to go to the city?" Unfortunately, unless you include Slidell and New Orleans East in the tour, that is the only way to get there.
