New blog...

Inspired by our friends, the Walkers, and their on-going, comical tribute to their new son and the preceeding pregnancy...we have created the Justin and Kate Mouledous blog. On a fairly regular basis, we'll post what's happening in the worlds of Justin and Kate.

As we type, Justin is 3 years old. Above is a picture from his Thanksgiving trip to Washington, D.C. Justin is a big fan of animals. He has about 200 animal figures in all shapes and sizes and many of his Christmas gifts had an animal theme. One gift, a remote control alligator from his Nannie (my sister Mary Beth) has been pretty interesting. The gator walks forward, left and right, growls and snaps its jaws. Last night after reading books before going to bed, Justin popped up and said, "Wait a minute! I have to do something." He grabbed the alligator and put it outside of his room. I asked him what that was all about and he said, "I'm not sleeping with that thing in my room."

Kate is 10 1/2 months, learned how to crawl before Thanksgiving and now thinks she can stand up. Kate, as many of you know, was a reflux baby. She doesn't appear to have any lingering inner effects from that difficulty as an infant.....all effects are present in her outward behavior. She is a bit of a pepper, packing an attitude and a temper. She is definitely dabbling in talking as she knows to say "Ma" and "Dah" when she needs something. While standing in the kitchen last night, I swear she called Mary Beth "nan" or something...even though that's not her Nan.
